I went to the Lakehouse yesterday with a group of people and it was such a beautiful spot. The atmosphere was incredible, food and drinks were okay, service was amazing. The man who was playing the piano was phenomenal. We had such a good time here. Also, we all got different desserts and they all tasted delicious. Good vibes!
We had our sons graduation dinner on a Saturday night at 6 pm. We sat inside and the volume was not too loud. The food was fantastic. 10 people all said their meals were delicious, but the drinks were lacking for a few of us. Desserts were phenomenal too! Would highly recommend for special occasions!
I have been a regular at this restaurant for many years, even before it moved to its current location. Not once had the food disappointed - always stellar ingredients, presentation and taste. Great cocktails and wine list as well. Current location has romantic water views, perfect for romantic celebrations or showers. Only challenge - parking. The lot is tiny, there is a vallet service, but I would say that creates more hustle than anything. If during summer time, you have to pay for parking at the marina. Othet than that, one of the gems on long Island.
You will enjoy your meal here for sure. Service is great and the dessert is amazing. Right on the water. You can't beat it.
We visited The LakeHouse for the first time to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We were greeted with a very warm welcome that set the tone for the evening. While the total came to $242.52, the quality of the food and the service made it worth every penny. The portions were surprisingly generous for fine dining. I had the 12 oz Wagyu NY Strip, which was cooked to perfection, my fiancée loved her Filet Mignon, and my mother-in-law really enjoyed the Salmon. Also—don’t skip the bread basket; it was amazing! Our server (whose name we unfortunately missed) was extremely kind and attentive. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!
The team made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm and caring service. Every dish was prepared perfectly, full of rich taste and clearly made with attention. The atmosphere outside is beautiful and relaxing, making it a great spot to enjoy drinks either before or after a meal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would happily visit again.
I’ve been to brunch here twice. I absolutely love this place & would highly recommend. During the summer one of my favorite places. The food is amazing.
We reserved a table for two for our wedding anniversary. It was a very pleasant experience at 6-630 PM. Not too busy, just the right amount of background noise. Ellen was very attentive without being intrusive. The venison was fantastic. Highly recommend for a surf and turf experience.
Went to long island for a baseball tournament and googled best restaurant in long island and The Lakehouse came up. Made reservations online, did not know they had a dress code (so make sure you go dressed appropriately or you will not fit in or possibly be refused service 🤦 opps!) We started with the bread basket, A must! And The Wild mushroom risotto, absolutely amazing!! Scallops, delicious... My son get the filet mignon everywhere we go, it was decent, nothing to call home about, but they did replace the veggies with fries which was nice as sometimes no substitutions are made. We ended our meal with a creme brulee, it was perfect! Definitely would go back, this time will make sure to pack something business casual!
